Mary Poplin
Mary Poplin has served as the dean of the Claremont Graduate University School of Educational Studies and as director of the teacher education program. She works on the application of the intellectual principles of the Judeo-Christian worldview to education, particularly among the poor. Her life-changing work with Mother Teresa led to her authoring Finding Calcutta.

Belmont Supports Haiti Benefit Showcase
The Belmont Supports Haiti Showcase is a benefit concert that will raise funds to support the relief efforts in Haiti. The showcase will feature bands of Belmont students who have auditioned and been approved.

Ron Hansen
Ron Hansen is an award-winning novelist whose books include The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (now a movie starring Brad Pitt), Mariette in Ecstasy, Hitler’s Niece and Exiles. He is Professor in the Arts & Humanities at Santa Clara University, a deacon in the Catholic Church and a fellow of the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology.

Dr. David Williams is an internationally recognized authority on social influences on health. He currently serves as the Florence and Laura Norman Professor of Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health and Professor of African and African American Studies and an Affiliate of the Sociology Department at Harvard University.
