Through the instruction of industry professionals and highly educated designers, Interior Design students* develop the skills needed to become accomplished designers, from perfecting traditional drafting and rendering techniques, to using the latest CAD and design software, to developing their own design philosophy.

Interior Design students, who are perennial Donghia Scholarship winners, prepare for a fulfilling career by participating in a CIDA-accredited program. Eighty-percent of 2015 Interior Design graduates currently work in their field.

Accreditation

Our intensive Interior Design program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation. The O’More School of Design was the first fully accredited program in the Southeast and is the only fully accredited program in Middle Tennessee. CIDA accreditation requires adherence to excellent standards, which prepares students to sit for the NCIDQ exam. To register as a professional interior designer with the state of Tennessee without extended work experience one must pass the NCIDQ and graduate from a CIDA accredited program.
