Financial Aid

Law students can borrow a maximum of $20,500 in federal Direct Loans per academic year.  Federal Direct PLUS loans are also available which can provide financing up to the total cost of attendance.  Pell grants are not available to law students.  The College of Law offers merit-based scholarships to qualified entering students and awards range from 25% to 100% tuition remission.  Every admitted applicant is automatically under scholarship consideration and there is no scholarship application process.  The cumulative undergraduate GPA and LSAT score are the criteria used in the evaluation process.  Qualifying veterans may be eligible for the GI Bill or the Yellow Ribbon Program.  For more information regarding financial aid, please contact the Admissions Office at 615-460-8400.
